Information

The FTSE Monthly Income Builder Plan December 2016 is a six year two week investment plan that offers potential gross income of 0.475% per month (5.7% per annum).

The return of capital and payment of any income are linked to the performance of the FTSE 100 Index.

The Plan pays a monthly income of 0.475% if, on every Business Day during a monthly Observation period, the Closing Level of the Index is between 75% and 125% of its Opening Level (the range), i.e. the Index does not close more than 25% above its Opening Level or more than 25% below its Opening Level in that period.

If the Index closes outside of the range during an Observation Period, the income payment for that month will be reduced. The extent of the reduction will depend on the proportion of days during the Observation Period that the Closing Level of the Index is outside of the range. For example, if there are 20 Business Days in an Observation Period and the Closing Level is below 75% of its Opening Level on 10 of those dates, the income payment will be half of 0.475%, i.e. 0.2375%.

If the Closing Level of the Index is outside of the range on all of the Business Days in an Observation Period, no income payment will be made in respect of that Observation Period.

It is aimed at clients who may be cash rich but income poor. As the capital is at risk, it is suited to those clients who are willing to take a risk on capital return in order to receive a higher level of income than could otherwise be achieved from cash products, and therefore are likely to have a medium attitude to risk or higher.

Please note an additional 0.25% charge will apply to this product if you require paper-based correspondence, rather than online communications from Meteor Asset Management.
